MORE ABOVE AVG: Even though the temperatures are coming down back to the 30s to mid 40s across the state. We’re still 10-15° above the levels for early January. This isn’t going to last as an Arctic front will be making an appearance by mid-week. This will put an end to the warm weather and bring us back to reality.

NO SNOW STILL: Even with the Arctic front mid-week, there won’t be more than a few flurries and strong gusty winds to usher winter back to the state. However as has been the case all year, the cold snap won’t last and warm weather will return the following weekend with 30s to lower 40s possible once again.

FARTHER OUT: The model run does show a more potent system the following week that may bring some rain changing to snow the 16-17th of January with another push of Arctic weather following. Temperatures will then slowly rise once more in this quick progressive pattern that has lasted for over a month now.
