Looking more and more like the storm system that will move through the state later tonight into Friday morning will bring some light accumulations of snow, mainly across areas north of US Hwy 20. One, perhaps two inches of snow are possible as the disturbance moves through. Given the ground temperatures, some of it will melt, and with temperatures warming up into Saturday, much of it won’t make it to 2012. If you are traveling through the northern counties this evening and overnight, be aware of some slick spots especially on the bridges and overpasses.
