DRY THROUGH SUNDAY: The storm that has brought bountiful amounts of precipitation both wet and white will be exiting the state later today. It won’t leave the state empty handed however with some accumulations over the grassy areas, (around 1-3″)). Skies will clear by evening with lows dropping well into the 20s across the state leading to some slippery spots in shaded areas on some roadways. It will remain dry through Sunday with temperatures rebounding back into the 50s by Saturday and Sunday. It will be quite breezy Saturday which may effect the Iowa Football Game at Kinnick Stadium.

NEXT STORM: Looks like right now, the next storm system will bring wet not white conditions to the state. It also looks like the southeastern half of the state is once again going to get the bulk of the precip. It will move in late Sunday night into Monday morning with rain overspreading the area. It may be moderate at times but it’s too early to determine rainfall amounts at this time. It will depart by sunrise Tuesday.

THANKSGIVING: Thanksgiving is now at the end of the current model run and as of right now, it looks like it could be wet and maybe even white. This may also effect Black Friday shoppers as well. We still have plenty of time before getting a concrete forecast for the holiday.
