FIFTIES WEEK: We’re not talking about the era of Doo-Wop, we’re talking about the high temperatures for the rest of this week. Readings in the fifties across the state through the upcoming weekend. There is a slight chance of a shower today although it’s very isolated at best, better chances although not by much on Sunday with a disturbance moving just to our north could kick up a shower. Amounts will be around a tenth of an inch. Otherwise skies will remain partly to mostly sunny through the weekend.

HALLOWEEN: Trick o Treating on Monday evening still looks fine, with temperatures during said event likely being in the upper 40s to lower 50s, with clear to partly cloudy skies.

ACTIVE NOVEMBER: The month of November is still looking to get very active across the state and midwest. Several storm systems are possibly going to effect the area over the first two weeks of the month (including the storm mentioned yesterday which is still on track around the 9th-11th). The first storm comes on the 5th with a chance of rain, with another storm right on its heels on the 6th. Both coming from the southwest. Then the storm discussed yesterday comes in from the southwest and moves in late on the 9th and last through the early part of the 11th. Right now most of the precipitation will be in the form of rain, but remember this far out things can still change although this storm system has been on the last 5 runs 0z yesterday, 6z, 12z, 18z and 0z today along with a few runs earlier than that. We’ll see if this trend continues.
