DRY TIMES AHEAD: Outside of a few widely scattered showers later today, the rest of the week looks to be rather dry across the state. It will also be getting much colder as well with a plunge of cooler Canadian air. Temperatures will fall into the 20s and 30s by Wednesday and Thursday morning statewide. Highs will struggle to reach 50° in many locations both Tuesday and Wednesday and only the lower 50s Thursday. Temperatures begin a slow rise into the weekend where readings will be near seasonal levels by that time.

SECOND PLUNGE: Another plunge of cold air will come behind a storm system that will effect the state late in the weekend. Rain will move in late Saturday night and Sunday with cold air moving in behind the system into the following week. This cold snap looks as of now to be about the same as the one coming this week. Temperatures again slowly rise toward seasonal levels through the rest of the week.
