Here are the counties across the state that are currently under burn bans due to the dry weather we’ve been having over the last few weeks.

Bremer, Buena Vista, Butler, Calhoun, Cass, Cerro Gordo, Cherokee, Chickasaw, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Greene, Hancock, Howard, Ida, Jasper, Keokuk, Lee, Lyon, Marion, Marshall, O’Brien, Osceola, Plymouth, Poweshiek, Sac, Sioux, Story, Warren, Washington, Webster, Winnebago, Winneshiek and Wright.

These burn bans will continue until conditions improve. More counties are likely to issue burn bans through the weekend as well.
