The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Thursday morning through the evening across the northeastern half of the state (Advisory begins in the morning across the west and early afternoon across the east). The counties included are, Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell, Winneshiek, Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Des Moines, Dubuque, Henry, Iowa, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Jones, Keokuk, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Washington, Black Hawk, Boone, Bremer, Butler, Cerro Gordo, Emmet, Franklin, Grundy, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Humboldt, Jasper, Kossuth, Mahaska, Marion, Marshall, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Polk, Poweshiek, Story, Tama, Wapello, Webster, Winnebago, Worth and Wright.
