ULL DEPARTING: The pesky upper level low is finally going to be departing off to the east today. However it will still be close enough to bring some isolated showers across the eastern half of the state. Rainfall amounts will generally be under a quarter of an inch or less. The rain and clouds will be completely out of the state by Wednesday, leading to some sunshine and seasonal temperatures through the end of the week.
COOLER WEEKEND: A weak front will cross the state on Friday bringing some cooler temperatures for the upcoming weekend, but not overly cold. Temperatures will fall into the lower to middle 60s for highs with mid 40s for lows. Temperatures will begin to warm into the beginning of next week.
ACTIVE OCTOBER: Model run continues to show some active storm systems in the first two weeks of October, some of which may bring some cool snaps to the state and maybe even some snow flurries not too far to our north. We’ll see if these continue to be seen in future runs ahead.
