COOL WEATHER: The weather will remain rather brisk with rebounding temperatures through the upcoming weekend. After a frosty start this morning, highs should only get into the upper 50s to lower and middle 60s, about ten-fifteen degrees below seasonal averages. Temperatures will rebound to near average by the end of the weekend into early next week.

RAIN: The next chances of rain look to be coming with two quick moving storm systems. One makes an appearance on Sunday with about a 20-30% chance of a shower and isolated thunderstorm. Then on Tuesday another system looks to move in with about the same 20-30% chance of rain at that time. Temperatures will remain close to average.

END OF SEPT: The end of the month is looking rather dry again across the state (as we’ve been mentioning on these videos for about a week now) and it continues to be trending in that direction. With a drought ongoing across the southern and southeastern counties of the state, the lack of rainfall will only make things worse (even though farmers will NOT want much if any rain during harvest season which is typically in October) in those areas.
