Freeze Watches and Warnings have been issued for Wednesday night into Thursday morning for the northern tiers of counties across NC and NW Iowa. Temperatures there on Thursday morning may drop into the upper 20s to near 30 degrees. This will be a significant freeze and most plants will be killed if left outdoors. Make sure you bring any plants that would want to keep growing indoors or cover them with a blanket. Frost Advisories will likely be hoisted for a larger section of the state sometime tomorrow.
