The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm watch effective until 6am Monday morning for Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Ida, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola, Plymouth, Sioux and Woodbury counties. A complex of thunderstorms across Nebraska is moving NE and will move through the northwestern counties of the state through the early morning hours. The main threats will be from damaging winds and some isolated large hail. Heavy downpours are possible as well, but flash flood is not anticipated at this time.
