The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective until 4am Monday morning. This watch includes the following counties, Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Des Moines, Dubuque, Henry, Iowa, Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Keokuk, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Washington, Jefferson, Lee and Van Buren. A squall line across central Iowa is racing eastward across the state. The main threat will be strong damaging winds up to 70mph. Some hail is also possible as well. There is also a chance of some strong winds behind the squall line as well. Any loose objects that are outside should be tied down now!
