LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS OF
65 MPH OR HIGHER. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING
FROM 6 MILES NORTHEAST OF WEEPING WATER TO PERU…AND MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

THE WARNED AREA INCLUDES INTERSTATE 29 IN IOWA BETWEEN MILE MARKERS

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. TORNADOES CAN
DEVELOP QUICKLY FROM SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. ALTHOUGH NOT IMMEDIATELY
LIKELY…IF A TORNADO IS SPOTTED…ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF
SAFETY INSIDE A STURDY STRUCTURE…SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS…AND MAY
