* AT 247 AM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL…AND DAMAGING WINDS OF AROUND 60 MPH OR HIGHER. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR SHELBY…OR 33 MILES NORTHEAST OF OMAHA…AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…HARLAN…DEFIANCE…IRWIN…TENNANT…NISHNA BEND RECREATION AREA…PRAIRIE ROSE STATE PARK…WESTPHALIA AND KIRKMAN.

THE WARNED AREA INCLUDES INTERSTATE 80 IN IOWA BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 29 AND 40.

THE WARNED AREA INCLUDES HIGHWAY 59 IN IOWA BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 66 AND 91.
