A few very widely scattered showers and thunderstorms were in Iowa. One was near Clinton in eastern Iowa moving into Illinois. A few other showers were in the northern part of the state from Algona to Northwood. Some severe thunderstorms have developed to the north of the state. One storm in particular SW of Marshall MN has a tornado warning with it. This storm is moving south at 25-30 mph. This storm (if it holds together) should head into Iowa between Sibley and Spirit Lake around 6pm.
