Also some important road closures, Due to major flooding on the Missouri River, Interstate 29 is closed near Omaha. The closure runs from exit 71 at Loveland IA, to exit 55 near Carter Lake IA. In addition, I 680 is closed just north of Omaha from the Missouri River to exit 61 on I 29.
Southbound on I-29, between the IA/MO border and Exit 10: IA 2 (7 miles north of the Hamburg area). The road is closed because of flooding. A detour is in operation. Northbound is reduced to one lane in the same area.
