A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for portions of northwest Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, and southeast South Dakota until 7:00 p.m. This includes the counties of Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Ida, Lyon, Monona, O’Brien, Osceola, Plymouth, Sioux, and Woodbury in Iowa. Severe weather impacted northwestern Iowa on Friday night with all modes of impact, including hail, winds, and tornadoes, primarily with one cell that tracked from Nobles county in Minnesota to Buena Vista and Cherokee counties.
