Another active year weather-wise with warm temperatures will be the story for the annual Tree Town Music Festival in Forest City later this weekend. Temperatures are expected to warm up into the mid-70s by weekend’s end with near-calm and variable winds. Skies on Thursday will be sunny before they turn Mostly Cloudy heading into the weekend, accompanied by chances of widespread showers and thunderstorms, primarily on Saturday and Sunday. The Weather Prediction Center is predicting about an inch of rain over the area as of Sunday evening. In any which way, it would be a good idea to start preparing for another year of muddy treks throughout the Heritage Park grounds. More details will be known as we get closer.
