I’m Somewhere on a Beach (Or at the State Fair?)

Sipping something strong (at the State Fair)

I’m goin’ crazy, thinkin’ ‘bout this weather, and I can’t be the only one! Another beautiful day is in store for fair and concert goers alike. Skies will be partly cloudy throughout the day with a light easterly wind at 3-5 MPH. Temperatures will be cool early in the 60s and 70s before the high temperature peaks out at about 84° by late afternoon.

8:00 p.m. could not come anymore closer as Dierks Bentley hits the stage – temperatures will be cooling into the low 70s throughout the concert as the sun sets for the day, with a few clouds in the sky.

The overall atmospheric pattern remains fairly dull through the majority of the week with mid-to-upper 80s for highs and partly cloudy-to-sunny skies. I don’t want to be a liar or a fool, but Friday turns more interesting as an upper-level system and cold front moves into the area. Widespread showers and thunderstorms are likely Friday; really the only weak spot in the state fair outlook. A cooler Canadian air mass will advect into the region by the weekend, characterized by temperatures in the 70s with lower humidity. Though, no precipitation chances – something that can keep you going strong.

Enjoy your Monday! Get off the ground, don’t run, and don’t be a hider – get yourself out to the State Fair!
