Crops are doing slightly better this week despite the heat wave we saw last week. Rainfall was beneficial especially in the southern and southeastern counties where moisture levels have dramatically increased over the last few weeks. Corn, Soybeans and Oats are mainly in good to excellent condition across the state this week. The Oat harvest has past the halfway mark with 54% harvested. Corn and Soybeans are ahead of schedule as well. Pasture land is doing better this week as well with only minor issues with livestock with relation to the heat last week.
