A Rather Boring Week of Weather

SLOWLY WARMING SUNNY WEEK: The rest of the week looks to feature sunshine with a few clouds here and there and readings warming slowly from the 40s and 50s of today to the 60s and 70s at the end of the week. Winds will switch around to the south on Wednesday and last through the end of the week. Not a whole lot to say about this.

THE WEEKEND: A storm system will be approaching the state as we head into the weekend, but high pressure across the east coast will be keeping the precipitation at bay on Saturday with only a few clouds here and there. It will continue to be warm with 60s and 70s likely with breezy winds out of the south. Rain looks to encroach into our western counties as we head into Sunday with the rest of the state remaining dry as the system will be hard pressed to move further to the east. Even on Monday of next week, the rain activity will be mainly across our far western counties out into the Plains.

INTO NEXT WEEK: The storm system looks to finally makes its way further into the state late Monday night into Tuesday with showers and thunderstorms possible at that time. Readings will remain in the 60s and 70s on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Another system looks to move into the state Wednesday into Thursday of next week with more chances of showers and thunderstorms at that time as well.

FURTHER ALONG: (This part is now not seen on the video) Looking further into the extended period, the weather looks to stay relatively mild with another storm system moving through the area around the 25th and 26th of April with a chance of showers and thunderstorms at that time. Temperatures during the period look to be in the 50s and 60s for highs with lows in the middle 30s to the middle 40s.
