Today: Clouds will dominate the weather across Iowa today with a few scattered showers possible in the afternoon. Fog will also be possible across portions of Iowa.  Highs will top out in the 40’s in most locations across Iowa.

Tonight: Rain will gradually end from west to east during the evening hours. As the temperature falls a few areas could see some brief freezing rain or drizzle. I don’t expect much in the way of accumulations.

Look ahead: A quiet weather pattern will return for the first part of the week with milder temperatures returning.  At this point, chances for a White Christmas look fairly low.
