Today: For your Sunday we’ll see Sunny skies across the state today. Much like yesterday, temps will again be the low to upper 50’s around the area. It will be a breezy day with south winds 15-25 MPH with higher gusts.
Tonight: Temps will fall tonight into the low 30’s across much of the state. Skies will be mostly clear across the area.
Look ahead: A storm system is forecast to affect the Midwest during the middle of next week. Details about precipitation, timing, etc will be narrowed down in later forecasts. The overall weather will continue to be seasonal, with temps dropping a few more degrees by the end of next week.
Be sure to get out and checkout the Taurid Meteor Shower that is currently taking place. This lesser known meteor shower does not have a high number of meteors but its know for producing fireballs and this year the number of fireballs with the event are high. I’ve been out several times this past week and have several photos showing meteors and fireballs. Plus I’ve seen several and they are neat to see. In the evening look towards the east high in the sky and overhead. As the evning goes on towads midnight look west and north as well as overhead. Be sure to bundle up as it will be clilly!
