The NWS has issued a Freeze Warning for the NE 1/2 of the state and has issued a Frost Advisory for the SW 1/2 of the state in effect from 1 am CDT until 9 am CDT Saturday.

Temperatures tonight are expected to drop as low as the mid 20’s across a good portion of Iowa.

Remember:

  A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely.  Sensitive plants should be protected or brought indoors if a longer growing season is desired.

  A Frost Advisory means that frost is possible across the advisory area.  Sensitive plants should be protected or brought indoors if a longer growing season is desired.
