Iowa Weather Report September 26th 2015: Another Great Fall Weekend

Today: Beautiful sunny skies will prevail across the area today, with highs remaining quite comfortable in the mid to upper 70’s.

Tonight:  Skies will remain clear tonight, with lows only dropping into the mid to upper 50’s the region.  Areas of fog may develop, especially in low lying areas so use caution if traveling.

Sunday:  The Eastern 1/4 of the area will see a mix of clouds and sun with the rest of the area once again basking in mostly sunny conditions.  Highs will once again top out the upper 70’s, with the 80’s making a come back in the far western portion.

Sunday Night:  Another comfortable night on tap, with clouds continuing to plauge Eastern portions of the state.  Low’s will generally be around the 60 degree mark.  Fog may once again develop in low lying areas.

The week ahead:  Temps will remain seasonable with showers and thunderstorms coming back into the picture for a majority of the week.   Though heavy rain isn’t expected, recurring showers/storms may hamper harvesting efforts around the state.
