Iowa Weather Report August 23th 2015: Cooler & Quiet Weather

Today: After and active Saturday evening and night we will see much quieter weather over the next few days. For Sunday we’ll see sunny skies and high temperatures ranging from 70 to 75 across the region. A few scattered clouds are possible in NE Iowa but you will see plenty of sunshine as well. It will be windy with brisk west to northwest winds in the 10 to 20 MPH range with some gusts up to 30.

Tonight: We’ll see mostly clear skies with lows ranging from 46 to 54 across the region. Winds will be on the decrease to around 5 MPH from the northwest.

Tomorrow: Monday will be sunny and pleasant with highs ranging from 72 to 78 across the region. A few afternoon clouds will be possible across NE Iowa but sunshine should dominate the state.

Tomorrow night: Quiet and calm weather continues across Iowa Monday night with mostly clear skies and lows ranging from 49 to 54.

The remainder of the week looks to generally be quiet with mostly sunny conditions and temperatures gradually warming to the 80’s towards the end of the work week.
