Iowa State Fair 2015 Forecast – Day 8 – Thursday, August 20, 2015

A glamorous day is ahead for those of you heading to the Iowa State Fair today! It may be a bit chilly in the morning in the upper 50s to low 60s, however things should heat up pretty quickly to the mid-to-upper 70s in the mid-afternoon. Winds will not be a concern either, ranging from 5 to 10 MPH out of the west, before transitioning to the south.

The extended outlook only gets better with only a few exceptions. Friday is looking to be Mostly Sunny with a high of 84°, however a breezy southerly wind of 10-20 MPH will exist. Saturday will be similar with a high of 81° and 10-20 MPH southerly winds. The only exception to Saturday will be a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms existing in the afternoon. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but something to look out for. Sunday will be colder with a high of 72° and winds shifting to the northeast at 10-15 MPH.

Enjoy your Thursday!
