Iowa State Fair 2015 Forecast – Day 4 – Sunday, August 16, 2015

If you’re looking to get to the Iowa State Fair before Thursday, you better do so today as things will be taking a downhill turn for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Temperatures today will be similar to yesterday with high’s getting into the low 90s and the predominant condition being Mostly Sunny or Mostly Clear. Winds aren’t too much of a concern either, being out of the south at 5-10 MPH.

As noted, the weather will be taking a downhill turn for the beginning part of the week. Monday will be seeing a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms (otherwise, Mostly Cloudy) with cooler highs in the low 80s. A likely 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms for Tuesday (otherwise overcast) with similar highs to Monday. The cool weather will continue into Wednesday with highs dipping all the way down into the low-to-mid 70s with a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will also be breezy with north winds shifting to the south at 10-15 MPH.

Some relief is on the way for Thursday with Mostly Sunny skies and much cooler temperatures, in comparison to today, in the low-to-mid 70s. This will likely be one of the best days weather-wise for the fair, so this would be the day to get out, if you do wish to do so.

Enjoy your Sunday!
