The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma is expected to issue a new Severe Thunderstorm or Tornado Watch by 6:15 p.m. this evening for much of western Iowa, including the Omaha and Sioux City metro areas. Strong-to-severe thunderstorms across Kansas and Nebraska are continuing to move northeast into the area and will likely intensify as it enters a very unstable area with large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado or two all possible.
