The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has issued Severe Thunderstorm Watch #214 for western and central Iowa, northeast Kansas, northern Missouri, and southeastern Nebraska until 1:00 a.m.

Primary Threats Include:

• Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events to two inches in diameter possible
• Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 MPH possible
• A tornado or two possible

Scattered thunderstorms and possibly a couple supercells will pose a risk for mainly large hail, in addition to locally damaging wind and possibly a tornado, through late evening.
