Showers and thunderstorms have erupted over the Upper Plains and Central Mississippi Valley regions early this afternoon. Locally, there has only been a single Severe Thunderstorm Warning thus far, and that was for Fremont county wind gusts. Things are expected to increase in coverage and present a large hail, damaging wind, and tornado threat through tonight. Those that have planned activities today should monitor the weather carefully and be prepared to take action should warnings be issued.
