Severe thunderstorms are currently moving sluggishly to the east or southeast across the state. Severe Thunderstorm Warnings exist for NE Palo Alto, SE Emmet, and southern Kossuth until 7pm; Winnebago and NW Worth until 7:30pm; SE Faribault MN and Freeborn MN until 7:30pm; SE Steele and NE Freeborn until 7:15pm; NW Mower and southern Dodge until 7:45pm; SW Cass, EC Lancaster, and NW Otoe until 7:45pm; SW Otoe until 7:00pm; and Johnson and SW Otoe until 7:30pm.

Half dollar to ping pong sized hail will be possible with all of these storms in addition to 60 MPH wind gusts. A landspout or possible tornado was reported earlier today in southern Emmet county. If warnings are issued for your area, take cover.
