Not sure how to describe the games from Thursday as they were taking their usual fashion and showing that rankings mean nothing. Two number one seeds, Aplington-Parkersburg and Williamsburg, and a number two seed, Danville, all lost. Only two upper-seeded teams won today with one overtime game and one double-overtime game. Congratulations to the dominating Gladbrook-Reinbeck, Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto, Treynor, Iowa City Regina, LeMars, and Wahlert Dubuque for all advancing.

We’re expecting continued warm temperatures to continue through the period with highs in the 60s and 70s again today. Lighter winds will lead to absolutely beautiful weather today. Some clouds will be possible early and late but, all in all, not a lot of concerns to speak of. Temperatures will return seasonal later on next week.
