Snow continues to overspread the state at this hour with the heaviest band currently sitting from Sioux City through Carroll, Ames, and north of Grinnell and lighter snow elsewhere. Roads are completely covered with snow for many areas west of I-35 from approximately Mason City to Spencer and south to Denison, Atlantic, and Ames areas. Another thing of concern would be roads completely covered with a mix (snow, ice, or slush) around the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro area.
