10:00 PM: Nearly All Roads Completely Covered

The latest road conditions as of 10:00 PM shows nearly all roads in the state, with the exception of some patches west of I-35 and east central and southeastern Iowa, are completely covered with either slush or snow. As snow continues to overspread over the entire state overnight, it should be an expectation to see nearly all roads completely covered. This will lead to hazardous road conditions – you should not travel tonight unless absolutely necessary. Snow is expected to pile up quickly with one half inch to one inch snowfall rates. Please take it easy if you must be out and about tonight.
