Winter Weather Advisory in Northwest

The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for freezing rain and snow for Lyon, Lincoln, Rock, and Nobles county from 8 AM to 6 PM Monday. Rainfall overnight is expected to transition to freezing rain in the morning to snow in the afternoon before clearing out in the afternoon. One to two tenths of an inch of ice and two to four inches of snow will be possible.

Dense Fog Advisories across Northeast Half of State

Visibilities are expected to drop again tonight across the northeast part of the state as a result of dense fog. Visibilities below a quarter mile will be likely across these areas through the early morning hours Monday. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect in these areas through noon (or 8am in the Quad Cities CWA).
