Temperatures this weekend were balmy for this time of year in the upper 40s to the low 60s across the region. Rain was seen across the area today along a cold front that was drifting east. These conditions are not expected to return for the beginning of the work week with highs in the 20s and 30s back in the forecast for Monday. It will also be windy across the state with wind gusts to nearly 40 MPH possible across the northwestern half of the state. For this reason, some National Weather Service offices have issued Wind Advisories. Light to moderate snow is also likely for the eastern half of the state with the highest totals along a line from Dubuque to the Quad Cities, where two to three inches will be possible. Lighter amounts will be possible to I-35 before totals begin dropping to under an inch.
