The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 3pm Sunday to 6pm Monday. Northwest winds will quickly increase during the late afternoon to evening hours to the 20-30 MPH range with gusts to 40 MPH Sunday and continue through Monday. Little to no accumulation is expected during this period, however the light and fluffy snow that is on the ground will easily be able to blow around snow and cause visibility to drop to a half mile or less frequently, possibly to near zero at times.

Again, be cautious when travelling, and slow down – do not travel unless you sincerely need to.
