Dangerous heat conditions will prevail across the southeastern portion of the state again tomorrow as heat indices climb to the mid to upper 90s and low 100s in some areas. For this reason, the NWS in the Quad Cities has issued a Heat Advisory for Henry, Des Moines, Van Buren, Lee, Muscatine, Scott, and Louisa counties for tomorrow. You should take extra precautions if you spend time outside tomorrow, and when possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing when possible and drink plenty of water.
