There is a slight risk of severe weather for a large portion of the state except the far southern counties. The main window for severe weather will be similar to Monday with large hail, damaging winds and a few tornadoes possible during the afternoon into the evening hours before it transitions into a damaging wind threat during the overnight into the early morning hours on Wednesday. There are a few boundaries that have likely been left by the storms that moved through yesterday into last night and early this morning. Any sunshine we get today will help to destabilize the atmosphere and lead to thunderstorm development. Be weather aware today as the storms develop in and around the state. There will also be a risk of flash flooding with the amount of rain that has fallen and is expected to fall later on today.
