.WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS OF 50 TO 60 MPH WERE OCCURRING BEHIND THE
LEADING EDGE OF THUNDERSTORMS THAT WERE PRESSING INTO WESTERN
IOWA. THESE STRONG WINDS WERE OCCURRING IN AN AREA OF MODERATE
RAIN WITH OCCASIONAL THUNDER AND COULD PERSIST FOR AN HOUR OR A

* TIMING…THE STRONG WINDS WILL PERSIST THROUGH AROUND 400 AM.

* WINDS…OF 50 TO 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED.

* IMPACTS…THE PERSISTENT STRONG WINDS COULD DOWN TREE LIMBS AND
CAUSE POWER OUTAGES AS WELL AS CREATE DIFFICULT DRIVING
CONDITIONS.
