A strong upper level storm system moving over the Northern to Central Plains will likely produce thunderstorms on Wednesday evening, primarily in western Iowa. A marginal risk of severe weather has been posted by the Storm Prediction Center due to the threat of an isolated severe storm. The main hazards will be large hail and damaging winds. Heavy rain and localized flooding are also possibilities.
