We continue with storms across the central into northeastern Iowa and now just within the last half hour or so, new storms have fired along the Missouri River in southwest Iowa SSE of Omaha. These storms are moving northeast at around 30-35mph. These storms like all the others we’ve seen this afternoon could be capable of producing hail over quarter sized and winds greater than 60mph. More development is still likely as we move through the evening hours. A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 10pm for WC, through central into northeastern Iowa, with a new watch just issued for far southern Iowa until 2am Sunday. Stay weather aware this evening.
