A band of rain with some thunderstorms extended from near Keosauqua in southeast Iowa to just north of Galesburg, Illinois to near Princeton, Illinois. Some of the stronger storms are capable of producing pea size hail and brief heavy downpours.

The rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected to expand into northeast Missouri and the rest of west central Illinois this evening. Then, colder air mving in from the north should change precipitation to all snow from north to south by late this evening.
