English River at Kalona:

• At 1:00 PM Tuesday, the stage was 13.9′, and rising. Flood stage is 14′.
• No flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
• Ice action may cause fluctuations of a foot or more from the expected stage.
• Forecast: Rise above flood stage today,  and continue rising to 14.8′ this evening. Fall below flood stage this evening.

 

Iowa River at Marengo:

• Until Friday morning.
• At 1:00 PM Tuesday, the stage of 15.2′ feet and falling. Fall stage is 14′.
• Minor flood is occurring and is forecast to continue.
• Forecast: Rise to 15.3′ Wednesday evening. Fall below flood stage Friday morning.
• Ice action may cause fluctuations of a foot or more from the expected stage.
• Impact: At 14′, water affects low-lying agricultural land along the river.

Skunk River at Augusta:

• Until Wednesday evening.
• At 11:30 AM Tuesday, the stage was 15.7′, and steady. Flood stage is 15′.
• Forecast: Rise to 15.9′ this evening. Fall below flood stage Wednesday evening.
• Ice action may cause fluctuations of a foot or more from the expected stage.
• Impact: At 16′, water floods some agricultural land near the river.

Wapsipinicon River near De Witt:

• Until Wednesday.
• At 9:30 AM Tuesday, the stage was 10.6′, and rising. Flood stage is 11′.
• No flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
• Forecast: Rise above flood stage this evening, and continue rising to 11.2′ Wednesday morning. Fall below flood stage Wednesday.
• Impact: At 11′, water affects county road E63 north of the river near Toronto and affects the lowest roads in Buena Vista.
