…ACCUMULATING SNOW EXPECTED THROUGH TONIGHT…

.A WINTER STORM WILL MOVE FROM MISSOURI INTO THE SOUTHERN GREAT
LAKES TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY. THIS STORM WILL BRING ACCUMULATING
SNOW TO AREAS SOUTH OF AN OTTUMWA IOWA TO PERU ILLINOIS LINE. THE
HEAVIEST SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE GENERALLY ALONG
AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM MEMPHIS MISSOURI TO PERU ILLINOIS.
SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES WILL BE COMMON…WITH SOME
LOCATIONS NEAR MACOMB SEEING UP TO 7 INCHES.

UNTIL 6 AM CST SATURDAY.

* TIMING…LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE MUCH OF THE
NIGHT.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 3 INCHES…RESULTING
IN STORM TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES.

* WINDS…EAST 5 TO 10 MPH.

* VISIBILITIES…AS LOW AS 1/2 MILE IN MODERATE SNOW.

* TEMPERATURES…IN THE UPPER 20S.

* IMPACTS…ROADS WILL CONTINUE TO BE SNOW COVERED AND HAZARDOUS.
