WET AND STORMY: A new system will bring quite a bit of rain to the state with a little wintry mix early Tuesday across the northern counties before it becomes all rain until the end. Precipitation will move into the state late tonight into Tuesday morning with the best chances of any wintry mix happening along and north of US Hwy 20. The rain chances look to continue through the day on Thursday with it ending from west to east at that time. There is likely to be some embedded thunderstorms as well mainly on Wednesday across the state as the low pressure center moves across the state at that time. Rainfall amounts look to range around an inch with some areas getting more and others less. Clouds will linger through Thursday night but Friday should see partial sunshine with a weak disturbance moving through that may bring a sprinkle or flurry around but nothing too substantial at this time.

INTO NOVEMBER: The upcoming weekend looks rather cool to start with moderating temperatures on Sunday as winds turn southerly once again. This will be ahead of another storm that could bring quite a bit of moisture to the state on the 4th through early on the 6th. Thereafter the pattern is a bit more calm with a possible storm beginning to take shape at the end of the period to our west on the 12th.
