The pieces are starting to come together for the beginning of a very active day across the area. With skies beginning to clear in the outlook area, storms are expected to fire over the southeastern corner of Nebraska or Northeastern Kansas and begin racing northeasterly. Any of these storms could go on to produce large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes (perhaps a few strong ones). Be sure that if you are heading out this afternoon into this evening that you have a way of getting warnings where ever you may be. Conditions are expected to change rapidly and you may only have a few minutes to get to a place of safety when a storm approaches your area. Make sure you have a plan in place of where you are going to go in case inclement weather approaches. Stay Safe!
