Not the best of days to be at the Iowa State Fair with some chances of showers and thunderstorms. They will be hit or miss and perhaps the fairgrounds could get by with no rain but the chance is there nonetheless. The chances are about 20-30% at most. The rest of the day will see more clouds than sun (perhaps little if any sun). This will keep the temperatures down into the middle 70s during the afternoon hours. By this evening, the chances of rain will begin to diminish as readings drop into the upper 60s by late evening. Any rain that does fall will be light and shouldn’t ruin a perfectly good trip.
