Early showers and storms through mid-day will give way to some sunshine and cooler readings. Highs will range in the mid to upper 70s with a breeze coming out of the northwest by afternoon after southwesterly winds during the morning hours. It will be quite cool tonight, perfect for sleeping outside. Lows will be in the lower to middle 50s (more typical of September than late July). The cool weather will continue into Saturday’s ride to Fort Madison as well.
